According to Scottsdale police, the couple broke into the rose-themed eatery and managed to make off with $450 in cash, an iPhone 5, and a bottle of Bacardi rum. The restaurant owner, Lexi Caliskan, described their actions as “kind of romantic but modern-day Bonnie and Clyde,” while surveillance footage captured the duo getting it on among the floral decorations near the outdoor patio.

Surveillance Footage Leads to Arrests

The couple’s escapade was documented on security cameras, which not only showed their amorous activities but also their subsequent break-in. The restaurant posted the surveillance video on social media, asking for help in identifying the culprits. Tips from community members led police to Sucanick on Nov. 3 and Morrow at a Phoenix hotel the next day.

Both suspects were arrested and charged with third-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools. “Neither suspect was booked for nor are they currently facing any charges for the ‘amorous activities’ caught on surveillance video, as it does not meet the criteria for criminal charges,” authorities said in a statement.
