BTS Set to Bring Immersive Concerts to Stanford Stadium in 2026

The pop music sensation BTS is set to perform at Stanford Stadium on May 16 and 17, 2026. This announcement comes as part of the group’s eagerly anticipated return to the stage and largest world tour to date, spanning 34 regions with a total of 79 shows.

360-Degree Stage Design for an Immersive Experience

The performances at Stanford Stadium will feature a groundbreaking 360-degree in-the-round stage design. This unique setup places the audience directly at the center, creating an unparalleled immersive experience that increases capacity while enhancing the overall concert atmosphere.

Stanford’s Commitment to Global Culture and Student Engagement

The performances underscore Stanford’s commitment to music as a key element in shaping global contemporary culture. They also highlight the university’s ability to convene transformative shared experiences for students and the broader community. This marks just the second musical act to perform at Stanford Stadium, following Coldplay’s inaugural shows last year.

Tickets will be available starting Thursday, January 22, 2026, via an ARMY MEMBERSHIP presale, followed by a general onsale beginning Saturday, January 24, 2026. The Weverse ID (email address) associated with the ARMY MEMBERSHIP must match the email associated with the account holder’s Ticketmaster account. If the emails do not match, it will not be possible to join the queue.

Stanford Live and Stanford Athletics

Presenting these artists allows us to engage with global perspectives and voices shaping contemporary culture,” says Deborah Cullinan, Vice President for the Arts at Stanford. “It is a powerful opportunity to bring students, artists, and the broader community together through shared cultural experiences rooted in Stanford’s values of openness, creativity, and connection.”

“We are thrilled for the opportunity to once again showcase Stanford Stadium as a destination for world-class entertainment,” said John Donahoe, Stanford’s Jaquish & Kenninger Director and Chair of Athletics. “Building off the momentum from last year’s highly successful Coldplay concerts, we are extremely proud to welcome BTS to our signature venue and provide another unique experience for the Stanford community.”

The shows on the tour mark BTS’ first headline performances as a group since their celebrated 2021-2022 ‘PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE’ tour, which spanned 12 shows across Seoul, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. As one of the first K-pop groups to achieve true global crossover success and shatter attendance and gross records worldwide, BTS continue to redefine what’s possible for the genre with this massive stadium tour.
