Gorka, known for his preference for a cool and comfortable sleep environment, clashed with Gemma over her use of a sauna blanket, which raised the bedroom temperature to 26°C. According to Gorka, an ideal sleeping temperature ranges between 18°C and 21°C.
The Compromise
Speaking on their podcast “Lost in Translation,” Gorka explained his frustrations: “I’m a person who doesn’t like to sleep in a hot room, or on a hot bed or when it’s very hot. But she goes and puts the mat on top of the bed, she lies on top of the bed, full power, so I have different intensities, and it’s quite bright red.”
Gemma defended her use of biohacks by stating that despite the rising temperature, she still had a good night’s sleep. She shared: “It made me laugh actually.
