Onyeka, 28, has always been known for his physical presence and mobility. He made a promising start at Brentford but faced competition from the likes of Christian Norgaard. Despite that, he managed to play significant minutes and even had a stint with FC Augsburg in the Bundesliga.

His main strengths are his physicality and mobility—very good for a big bloke. He tidies up and does the sensible things quietly, though he’s not great in the air. His judgement in the challenge is surprisingly poor, leading to some injuries.
A Sound Acquisition
Lampard sees potential in Onyeka as a steady player who will thrive with more minutes in front of defence. Coventry City needs a midfielder who can provide stability and support, which Onyeka should offer. His Nigeria experience will be an asset as the club pushes for promotion.
