The Star of Mr. Belvedere
Ilene Graff, the actress who worked with comedy legends Robin Williams and Rodney Dangerfield, has been spotted in Los Angeles. She played Marsha Cameron Owens in the 80s sitcom Mr. Belvedere, a role that spanned from 1985 to 1990.
According to Graff, filming the final episode of Mr. Belvedere was an emotional experience for all cast members. “Emotions were running high,” she said in an interview with Rewind Magazine. “That’s when the shock of it kind of hit.” Despite the end of the show, she has maintained relationships with her castmates and even refers to her on-screen children as “my kids.”
A Multitalented Actress
In addition to Mr. Belvedere, Graff had a minor role in the series Mork & Mindy, which starred Robin Williams as an extraterrestrial named Mork. She also appeared in Ladybugs (1992), where she played Rodney Dangerfield’s girlfriend.
Graff’s acting resume extends beyond television and into Broadway. She portrayed Sandy in Grease and even conceived the role of Cleo in I Love My Wife, a musical that premiered on Broadway.
Spotted Running Errands
On a recent sunny day, Graff was seen running errands in Los Angeles. She opted for a casual yet classic look, donning sunglasses, a white zip-up sweater, brown slacks, and white trainers. A bold red manicure added some Hollywood glam to her outfit.
While out, she reminisced about the show’s end: “It was terrible,” she said of filming the final episode. “I mean the show wasn’t terrible, but the emotions were running high.” Despite the emotional toll, Graff remained optimistic about their relationships, stating that they have maintained contact all through the years.
