Xbox has announced its latest event, Free Play Days, which runs from December 18 to December 21, 2025. This exciting period offers a variety of games for free play, making it an ideal opportunity for gamers to explore new titles or revisit some favorites without any cost.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
One of the highlights of this event is Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which will be available free for all players from December 16 to December 22, 2025. This means that whether you have a Game Pass membership or not, you can dive into multiplayer and zombies content. The remastered Nuketown 2025 map is included, along with the Sleighjacked MP Map, which adds a festive twist to the game.
Fallout 76: Free for All Players
Fallout 76, another popular title, will be free for everyone from December 18 to December 23, 2025. The latest expansion, Burning Springs, is included in this offer, featuring the voice of actor Walton Goggins reprising his role as a Ghoul from the Prime Video Fallout TV series.
NBA 2K26 and WWE 2K25: Game Pass Members Only

How to Access Free Play Days Games
To access these free games, visit the Microsoft Store while signed into your account. For Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, or Essential members, simply click on the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store where you’ll find a collection of titles under the Free Play Days section for both Xbox One and Series X|S.
If you want to keep any games after enjoying them during this period, note that they will be available at a limited-time discount. This event is designed not only as a free play opportunity but also to entice players who might consider purchasing these titles in the future.
