New Creations Menu Update for Fallout 4
Bethesda, the developer behind the post-apocalyptic role-playing game Fallout 4, has unveiled plans to release a significant update on November 10, 2025. This update comes with the release of the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, designed to commemorate the game’s 10th anniversary.
The new Creations Menu will allow players to easily find and download user-created content from professional developers and passionate enthusiasts alike. This feature aims to enhance the modding experience, making it more accessible for a broader audience.
Patch Notes and Mod Warning
In anticipation of this update, Bethesda has issued a warning to mod users. According to their statement, all Fallout 4 mods will undergo maintenance from November 6-10. During this period, players won’t be able to download or upload any new content, though they can still modify the load order and play the game.
Bethesda specifically asked players to disable any mods that change the main menu before the update.
Failure to do so may result in broken gameplay once the patch is applied. The company expressed gratitude for player patience and emphasized that these changes are necessary to lay the groundwork for new features such as additional storage for Creations.
Gameplay Improvements
The Fallout 4 patch notes highlight several welcome improvements beyond the Creations Menu update. VATS (Vault-Tec Assault Suit Tactical System) accuracy has been fixed, ensuring consistent hit chances across different platforms and preventing values from dropping to zero or showing incorrect results.
Targeting enemies through walls without the Penetrator perk is now disabled, enhancing gameplay balance. Additionally, the patch includes improved support for ultrawide and super ultrawide monitors, along with enhanced resolution detection that prevents crashes on launch.
The Anniversary Edition will include six official add-ons: Far Harbor, Automatron, Nuka-World, Contraptions Workshop, Vault-Tec Workshop, and Wasteland Workshop. These expansions add significant content to the game, including unique weapons, power armor, Pip Boy paint jobs, and more.
