New Kits Unveiled: Loyal and Rebel for 2026
The Wigan Warriors football club has taken a step into the future of their branding by launching two new kit designs, ‘Loyal’ and ‘Rebel’, set to debut in the upcoming 2026 Betfred Super League season. These new kits are not just about aesthetics but also reflect the spirit and passion of the Wigan fanbase.
The Loyal Kit: A Tribute to History
The ‘Loyal’ kit is a nod to the club’s storied past, designed with a fresh yet unmistakably Wigan look. The traditional Cherry and White colours are divided equally to create a striking 50/50 balance, with clean, bright white emphasising the shoulder line. This contemporary design pays homage to every rise and fall of the club, making it a symbol of enduring loyalty. As Group Head of Retail, Nicola Prior, stated: “We’re incredibly proud to launch the new Wigan Warriors ‘Loyal’ and ‘Rebel’ kits for the upcoming 2026 Betfred Super League season.” She added that these kits deliver on quality, authenticity, and a design that reflects the spirit of the Club and the passion of the fans.
The Rebel Kit: A Bold New Direction
Complementing the ‘Loyal’ kit is the ‘Rebel’ jersey, which introduces an angular, modern graphic inspired by typography found in vintage matchday programmes. This bold design direction is set to make the Away kit one of the most celebrated in recent memory. The ‘Rebel’ kit encourages fans to lead the charge and rebel against the ordinary, embracing change and pioneering new directions. Shaped by the Kombat 26 silhouette, this forward-thinking design features dynamic panelling that enables graphics to flow seamlessly over the shoulders and around the side seams, delivering a modern and elevated aesthetic.
Pre-Order Now for Your New Kit
The new Wigan Warriors shirts are available to pre-order online now at store.wiganwarriors.com. Pre-orders will be dispatched when they arrive with the Club, prioritised according to the sequence in which they were received by the Club. To facilitate easy collection, store opening hours will be extended giving fans further opportunity to collect their order.
Fans can check the status of their orders online or receive email confirmation once their order has been dispatched and/or is ready to be collected. It’s important not to come to the club store to collect your order until a confirmation of collection has been received. For delivery, orders will be sent out using DHL Express (from Dispatch) for £8.50, or Standard Delivery (Up to 5 Working Days from dispatch) for £4.95.
Shirt sizes range from 0-12 months up to 8XL, with adult shirts priced at £55, junior shirts at £40, and mini-kits (including shorts and socks) priced at £45.
Both ‘Loyal’ and ‘Rebel’ kits feature new principal partner the Tote on the front of the shirt (excludes Junior and Infant kits), with Smalley Decorators on the breast alongside the famous Kappa Omni logo and Wigan Warriors Club badge.
Extended opening hours will be communicated in due course, once the kits arrive. Due to the high volume of expected orders, fans may experience queues on the wiganwarriors.com website. The club anticipates that shirts will be available for purchase in-store later in the week, with more details to follow.
