A Year of Entertainment in Loughborough Town Hall: Line-Up for 2026 Announced
The excitement is building as the curtain rises on Loughborough Town Hall’s calendar for 2026. With more than 30 shows already announced, fans are eagerly counting down to what promises to be a season packed with live entertainment that will cater to every taste.
Music and Comedy Take Centre Stage
The year kicks off on Sunday, January 25, with the return of the Grimethorpe Colliery Band. On Tuesday, January 27, audiences can look forward to the sharp wit and new material from Judi Love, a well-known figure in the entertainment world.
Leicester’s own Showaddywaddy will grace the stage on February 27, adding their vibrant sound to the lineup. The Manfreds follow with their electrifying night of pop anthems on March 28, and folk-rock pioneers Fairport Convention take over March 29, bringing their timeless classics to life.
Iconic Music Acts and Tributes
The spring months promise a tribute-filled lineup. Barry Steele and Friends: The Roy Orbison Story pays homage to one of rock and roll’s greatest voices, followed by Pink Floyd Experience, Frankie the Concert, The Rocket Man: A Celebration of Sir Elton John, and Legend: The Music of Bob Marley. Sweet and Sour brings an exciting mix of pop anthems on May 1.
For a celebration of music’s most iconic artists, Go Your Own Way – The Fleetwood Mac Legacy and Man in the Mirror – A Tribute to Michael Jackson are scheduled later in the spring. These performances will surely provide fans with a nostalgic journey through time.
Theatre and Comedy
Comedy lovers have their share of delight as well, with Geoff Norcott, Seann Walsh, Kane Brown, Andy Parsons, Henning Wehn, Gary Delaney, Suzi Ruffell, and Scott Bennett bringing their new tours to the stage. Each comedian promises a mix of sharp insights and big laughs.
The town hall also offers a range of unique experiences, including The Big Pants Party for an ultimate ladies’ night out, Psychic Sally’s mediumship sessions, Damien Lewis uncovering the secret history of the SAS, and a disco event designed for grown-ups. Families can enjoy Immersion Theatre’s brand-new musical adaptation of Rapunzel in March.
Michaela Strachan brings her warmth and humor to the stage with Not Just a Wild Life on April 19, offering a blend of wildlife adventures and entertainment.
The season concludes with Craig Revel Harwood’s glittering return on June 8 for Revelations – Songs Boys Don’t Sing, marking an evening of pure showbiz sparkle.
