Immediate Love for His Granddaughter
“Immediately you fall in love,” Bon Jovi told Guthrie. “When we met Jake and Millie’s daughter, it was just immediate. You’re like, ‘That’s my granddaughter.'” The singer’s son, Jake Bongiovi, and his wife, “Stranger Things” actress Millie Bobby Brown, announced on August 21 that they had adopted a baby.
Sharing the Grandfather Name with TV Show Character
Bon Jovi shared that he chose to adopt the grandfather name “Papa” – a reference to one of his daughter-in-law’s hit show characters. He joked, “She won’t be able to walk for at least 10 or 12 years because Papa will be carrying her everywhere she goes,” Bon Jovi laughed.
