Set for a Gruelling Return: I’m A Celebrity 2025 Lineup Teased
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, the long-running reality TV show, is due to return in 2025 with a star-studded lineup. The show will be hosted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly for another year, as they welcome celebrities into the notorious jungle camp.
Surprising Stars Heading Down Under
The rumored list of contestants includes several well-known faces from television, social media, and sports. Lisa Riley, a popular character from the ITV soap Emmerdale, is reportedly in advanced talks to join the lineup. According to sources, “Lisa is perfect for the show because not only is she from a soap watched by millions, but she’s one of its biggest characters and it’s an ITV show to boot.” Ruby Wax, a 72-year-old TV legend known for her roles in Shock Treatment, is also being considered. She previously spent 10 days on a remote island filming for Channel 5.
Social Media Sensations and Sports Stars
Morgan Burtwistle, better known as Angry Ginge, the social media star with over three million followers across TikTok and Instagram, is another potential contender. The show’s producers are keen to have a social media superstar on their cast, inspired by the success of previous participants like Nella Rose and GK Barry.
Boxing sensation Conor Benn is also tipped for the jungle. “The logistics are a challenge given how close the match is to the start of the jungle,” but ITV and Conor are keen to make this happen if they can. His profile has soared due to his intense rivalry with Chris Eubank Jr.
Entertainment Industry Stars in Talks
Other entertainment industry stars such as Alex Scott, Shona McGarty, Denise van Outen, and Vogue Williams are also reportedly in discussions for the 2025 lineup. Alex Scott, a former Lioness and sports TV presenter, is eager to show her public side beyond her professional football pundit role. Shona McGarty, known for her portrayal of Whitney Dean on EastEnders, might take up this fresh challenge.
Denise van Outen, who has previously appeared in shows like Strictly Come Dancing, The Masked Singer, and Dancing on Ice, is another potential contestant.
She suggested she would do the show at some point, adding that being on it for her 50th birthday would be “nice.” Vogue Williams could also join the lineup, 10 years after her husband Spencer Matthews was removed from the show.
The 2025 line-up is set to include a mix of celebrities and reality TV stars who are eager to face the gruelling challenges in the Australian jungle. The show promises an exciting return with its familiar hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, ready to welcome these famous faces into their legendary camp.
