EastEnders actor Colin Salmon has expressed genuine gratitude for avoiding an automatic six-month driving ban despite his prior points. On March 31 last year, Salmon was caught traveling at 24mph in a 20mph zone near his Shepherds Bush home. Bench chairman Mark Stollery acknowledged Salmon’s unique situation, noting that his family would face “exceptional hardship” if he were disqualified. The court fined him £666 with £130 costs and ordered a £266 victim surcharge but did not impose the driving ban.
